 I went to my local HMV store here in Ipswich Town, England to see if they had it in.

 

 

I waited and waited as the HMV store assistant checked for it, to see if they had copies of it in the store. She eventually replied. 

 

"I am afraid we haven't had any copies of this latest album in".

 

 "Come back next week sir and check"

 

I had no choice but to make my way home, and try and see if I could catch a glimpse of the album online.

 

I was in luck I found the would album on Bandcamp.

My mood brightened immediately.

 

Tracks such as Self, Go, Baby, Miss Romantic, Golden Child (Jealous), and Love Will Lead You.. had me repeating the playing of these songs at least 4 or 5 times.

 

A change of direction of a slight degree with Cleo Sol. I found within some of her songs the inclusion of Spiritual awareness on some of the songs. Please check and listen to the track called "Self" for instance.

 

Cleo moves towards the calling on a higher power in a moment of inner needs...when performing that song.

 

I love these tracks in fact my favourite is - Love Will Lead the Way.  It's moving into the Sade territory.

 

The only tracks that fell a tiny weenie, a bit too short for me on the release were - Airplane, Heaven, Nothing on Me, and Old Friends - the reason why they sounded like tracks that you might find on a Folk album, not on a Soul album. 

 

But she even said that her vocal performance of the tracks on the album was brilliant.

 

Another person who deserves a slap on the back is  Inflo. 

 

Inflo is the producer of this album and her other two previous albums are "Rose in the Dark - 2020" and "Mother - 2021".

 

The Melodies and grooves that he generates on all of these albums are sensational.

 

At times this project brought me back to when I first discovered the band from the 1980s called SADE; and the lead vocalist from the same band named Sade

 

I will be definitely looking out for the vinyl item of this album when it becomes available, and I think you should do as well.
