Cleo Sol released an album called Gold

It seems that the management team of Cleo Sol and maybe Cleo Sol, herself knows what they're doing. They basically went into a studio and decided that they were going to release two albums practically back to back.

This dipping in and dipping out strategy (staying out of focus from the music industry for 2 years. And then releasing two albums within 2 x weeks of each other. Is Gold. Sorry about the pun.

While it is really too short of time to compare the albums that are "Heaven" and "Gold" against one another.

This is something that I have just completed the task of doing by listening to the album that is "Gold". 

It seems as if the album that is "Gold", is more geared towards a Neo Sol, Soul, and Gospel-tinged music affair than "Heaven. 

The album that is "Heaven" for me went down the path of Neo Soul, RNB, and Folk music.

Cleo Sol's - Heaven - album was released on the 15th of September 2023

For this project of "Gold". The tracks that hit me immediately were – “Reason, Desire and “Gold”.

These will make you go and listen again.

Cleo Sol's -  Gold - album was released on the 29th of September 2023

The album of "Gold" is 10 songs long, with a simple stripped-down approach to Neo Soul and Soul music that works.

Inflo, the music, and producer practically play every instrument on this album. He also deserves a huge pat on the back in regard to the musical moods that he manages to bring to us.

Cleo transposes throughout her songwriting on the album topics of Love, growth, faith, self-belief, and a gentle, Christian, inflected spirituality that runs through this long player.

It’s not music for rocking a party, but perfect for winding down after one. And we all need that, especially if you have not even been partying. Just working.

Another album well done in my opinion, especially the tracks that I mentioned above already
